As a professional Actor, and Shakespeare Specialist, I am excited to share his secrets and let you into the club! All levels are welcome - - No prior Shakespearience required. This class is designed for anyone who wants to know more about Shakespeare, get an edge for reading his plays aloud in English class, or for actors who want to gain the tools to ROCK that audition for the school play! PARENTS: Your children will continue to encounter new works with every Shakespearience level, expanding their knowledge of and familiarity with Shakespeare’s Comedies, Tragedies, and Histories. Class will consist of: Game: We will learn and practice our fun and silly Shakespearean Insults (“You Mewling Half-Faced Measle!!). Lesson: We will quickly review our four (4) simple steps to understand Shakespeare faster from Shakespearience 1.0. Practice: We will read scenes and speeches aloud and work through them together discussing: -what’s happening in the scene and why it matters -what the characters are revealing to us in their language -implementing the four simple steps we learned earlier in Shakespearience 1.0!
