In this class, we will take an up close look at the sensational O.J. Simpson Criminal Murder Trial and examine why it still matters decades later!  

There will be detailed accounts of events leading up to the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman, events and facts pertaining to the murders, and issues raised during the criminal murder trial, all as presented during the criminal litigation process!  The presentation of facts and issues will be discussed through the crimino-legal lens and explored as to why the murder trial was sensational in 1994-1995, and, still matters decades later!

This class is not intended to scare or repulse, as details will be presented matter-of-factly. 

Prerecorded Lessons will consist of some or all of the following:  slides and a lecture;
In class activities will include options where students can ask questions and express thoughts on each topic, as well as complete assigned activities.

As a self-paced class, we will not meet live!  

Students will demonstrate their learning through participation in the weekly classroom activities (no live meetings).

Each lesson will be delivered via a prerecorded video that will be uploaded into the classroom every week. Each week, students will be assigned an activity to complete related to the prerecorded video. The instructor will be available to help and will provide individual feedback throughout the course.

Who's Who? The Key Players
 In this lesson, we are introduced to the victims, the defendant, and the legal teams. 
Lesson 2:
The Crime and the Crime Scene Evidence
 In this lesson, we talk about the crime and crime scene evidence. 
Lesson 3:
Deep Dive: Key Witnesses, Evidence, and, DNA
 In this lesson, we take a deep dive and learn about some key witnesses, as well as explore DNA and Crime Scene Evidence. 
Lesson 4:
Impact and Legacy
 In this lesson, we conclude our look into the O.J. Simpson saga. 

Other Details

Parental Guidance
There will be photos and accounts of the actual crime scenes and domestic violence. Some of the descriptions will include great bodily harm in detail, domestic violence, sharp force injuries/murder, and more. The content of this class is not for those who are "faint-at-heart", and, discretion is advised. Sex and violence will be referenced and discussed in relation to the facts presented during the criminal murder trial.
