My husband and I have been bee keepers for the past three years. We started with one hive but it has now grown to five. Every year we make candles from the wax and harvest surplus honey that we sell to our local community. We have learnt a great deal about bees behaviour and continue learn more and more about them every year.
The children will need a piece of A4 (UK) or letter sized (US) paper, a pencil and an eraser to draw their honey bee picture.
