The Secret Explorers Book Club

In this fun and exciting ongoing course, learners will get to explore a new part of science or history each week. We will discuss together what happened in the story, what the characters learned, and our own favorite parts. They will have the opportunity to learn new vocabulary words that they didn't know previously. Learners will be expected to read the book before coming to class. These books are a becoming favorite in our house and a perfect way to jump into reading chapter books. Other things we will discuss would include things that were surprising to us, things we already knew in science. The goal of this class is to enjoy and embrace the story and instill a love of reading. Learners will receive a fun activity that they are welcome to complete.
