Is your child eager to improve their social skills with the fun of science in a supportive, flexible environment? this online small group class, designed with both younger and older learners in mind, offers an engaging and interactive experience. If your child falls outside the suggested age range, feel free to message me to see if this class might still be a good fit. Social skills are both an art and a science. When a student can master the science behind social skills they can, not only, make friends easier but also have information they can use in future careers: Like, networking in business or talking to a patient while working in the medical field. Every week we explore a new and exciting social skill topic. the flexible class structure allows you to start at any point without feeling left behind. Each session is self-contained, ensuring a valuable learning experience whenever you join. Designed for all learners but specially tailored to meet the needs of students on the spectrum (autism) and students with adhd This class is created with step-by-step instructions, visual aids, practical examples, games and puzzles as well as hands on practice with the teacher/ students to help enhance social skills. Students will engage in role-playing exercises, receive constructive feedback, and practice new skills in a supportive environment. In addition to mastering social skills students will also learn about Executive function. Executive function is the brains ability to control and manage behavior. We can train our executive function through different skills and tasks that we will discuss each week. This class is learner lead because I believe that students learn best when they are interested in the topic. Some topics include: Handling mistakes How to say "No" Introductions Turn taking and many others

Learning Needs
Reading support will be provided for students with Dyslexia
Prompts, Guidance and visual aids will be given to students with ADHD
Multiple methods of instruction and opportunity given to students with Autism (asd)
Pre-Requisites
This is a beginners course open to all students but specialized for those with ADHD and autism. No pre reqs required

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
