Class Experience
Breaking Wind, Tooting, Passing Gas, there are many euphemisms about flatulence, and there are probably a million jokes. Now, it is easy to think to talk about farts in immature, but they are incredibly complicated and by analyzing them because they are funny we can also learn a lot about science! In this one time class we will explore why flatulence occurs and what exactly happens in our body to cause gas. Students will also learn about why farts create different sounds and smells. There...
Students will understand that bacteria, diet and health control farts Students will learn how vibrations relate to fart sounds. Students will learn about different types of animals and why they fart or don't fart...some farts are for communication and defense! Students will learn about words, sulfur, methane, oxygen, hydrogen, carbon dioxide, nitrogen, bacteria, vibrations, flatus, sphincter muscles, and fermentation.
