Students will re-experience their favorite scenes as we take a close look at the science and history behind Indiana Jones.

Class experience

US Grade 5 - 8
This course explores topics related to the Indiana Jones series.  Students will explore the natural history, archaeology, and history featured in the films.  
I am a professional archaeologist for over 20 years that has worked at sites throughout the United States and the world.  I am currently the tribal archaeologist for the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe.  I also teach archaeology/anthropology classes at Sitting Bull College and am a historic interpretive guide at On-A-Slant Mandan Indian Village at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park in Mandan, North Dakota.  I have been engaged in teaching youth about the science of archaeology since AD 2000.
Homework Offered
Each week students will be provided with instructions for completing labs related to each week's topic. The labs are entirely optional but are recommended to help enhance the students' understanding of the topic.
