I am a certified educator under OCT for intermediate and senior levels with teaching qualifications in history, geography, math, and special education. Material presented in this class will be fact-checked and provided from appropriate and trusted sources.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
- In history, there is often violence and war. As we are discussing a variety of historical leaders, there may be a discussion of violent events that occurred under their leadership. Images, videos, and discussions will be created to be age-appropriate. - In this class we use Kahoot. Kahoot is an online trivia game. During class, students will be sent a link through Zoom chat which will take them directly to the game and they will enter their first name or nickname. No personal information will be required or any downloading.
