Description

Class Experience

While this class does cover the history of Alcatraz and its use, it will be more laid back and will focus more on the central escape room activity.
I hold a master's degree in education from George Washington University and a LMSW from Columbia University. I love exploring different historical topics with my students.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Alcatraz was a prison full of violent offenders. We will focus less on the crimes committed, but will mention some of the violence that occurred throughout the history of the island.
