Class Experience
Classes 1 and 2 will cover The Roaring Twenties. We will discuss what the Roaring Twenties were and how after the Great War (WWI) people were looking for a change. we will cover the Women gaining the right to vote and prohibition. How Jazz influenced the culture and youth of the day. Students will discover the Harlem Renaissance and how this was a step in the direction of civil rights for all. How people lived, what they wore, what they ate, and how they spent money. What did they do for...
I am offering this class as a way to expand the understanding of the early twentieth century and how many programs that were enacted about 80 years ago are still in effect today.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
2 hours per week in class, and an estimated 4+ hours per week outside of class.
All material covered in class will be age appropriate. Parents are always welcome to sit in on the class.
