Legend speaks of a lost ring that belonged to famed battle maiden Dagmar the Unyielding: traverser of the realms, feller of beasts, giants, and all those who dared stand against her. The ring, lost among the Moonshae Isles, is imbued with the power of her might. Many have sought out the ring, but very few have uncovered it. The ring is rumored to be guarded by the Daughters of the Gray, a fierce and fearsome band of warriors as tough and relentless as the coastal landscape from which they were hewn. Do you have the strength and wit to convince the Daughters of the Gray that you are worthy?

Dungeons and Dragons is a collaborative role playing game in which players must work together, solve puzzles, and think critically. D&D requires some basic math skills, social interaction, and lots of imagination! As this adventure is for both beginner and experienced players, I will be providing some pre-made 1st level character options for the players to choose between.

We will start the session with introductions, a brief overview of D&D as a whole, choosing characters, and then we'll dive right into the game! The game will take place over the course of 2 hours and 45 minutes, with a 15-minute break roughly halfway through. 

Important note: As this is a cooperative experience, there will be no PvP (player vs player) content, and no evil characters.

This course requires a small amount of knowledge on how to play Dungeons and Dragons, but not much else. We will play on a platform called Roll20, which is a "virtual table top" website, used for playing D&D online. No account is required, as I will be sharing the screen.

The adventure "The Ring of the Battle Maiden" was created by Ashley Warren, and has received high acclaim in the D&D community. Some aspects have been altered slightly to assist in ensuring the adventure can be completed within the given time.
