Class Experience

Always wanted to learn about how you breathe? The respiratory system is a very special system in the human body and one of my personal favourites. Whether we take a deep breathe, or breathe without thinking about it, we are breathing continuously all day and knowing how we breathe all day is absolutely incredible. 

In this one time lesson, you will learn the basics of the respiratory system including:
- Major functions of the respiratory system
- The function and role of the lungs
- How the...

Students will learn the structure and function of the respiratory system, the major organs and structures involved in the system, and the roles of the system in the body.

I have a Bachelor of Education (BEd.) and a Bachelor of Physical Education (Honours) (BPhEd.) and have studied the human body's physiology, anatomy and biology for near 10 years. I am also a teacher who has taught science at the secondary level.

55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
