In this one-time class, the student will listen to a story about a farmer who finds a red lemon in his orchard! He is horrified and tosses the red lemon across the water. Questions will be asked along the way, predictions made about what happens to the red lemon and how the student felt at the end of the story. Was their prediction right? *three lemons *baking soda in a small container *paper plate *food coloring *knife (parent will use this for cutting ends of lemons) *butter knife (for student) *cookie sheet
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The parent will need to be there to cut the ends off of the three lemons after the story and monitoring the student. The student will be handling a butter knife, baking soda, and food coloring.
