Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Learners will: -gain knowledge about foxes in general, more specifically Prince Edward Island foxes -gain geographical knowledge about Canada and the province of Prince Edward Island -have the opportunity to be artistically creative with drawings and a craft relating to foxes -discuss and think about what it means to be responsible as humans towards wild animals -enjoy a bond with other learners who are excited about foxes
I am blessed to own a farmhouse in Prince Edward Island and have had regular encounters with the provinces’ adorable red foxes. I am so excited to share about these wonderful woodland creatures that roam Canada’s smallest and most charming province!!
Learners may do extra drawing and coloring on their fox artwork in between classes if they so choose, but there will be no assigned homework in this course.
-A one page PDF print-out will be available on the classroom page for our first meeting. Also needed for our first meeting will be a pencil and coloring supplies. -A flat smooth rock approx. the size of the palm of your learner's hand and some markers will be needed for our second meeting craft. -Drawing paper, a pencil, and coloring supplies are needed for our third and final meeting.
No formal assessment or grade will be given, but during the class, attention will be given to how much knowledge students already know about the subject matter and teaching will be adjusted accordingly.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
