Description

Class Experience

Students will learn about artists Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo. We will learn from first-hand accounts and history texts about the type of men they were, the artwork they created, and their influence on history.
I am an art history professor and this is a more turtle focused portion of my regular classroom lecture.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Art has always been focused on the human figure. Though this will no be our primary focus there will be artworks that show nudity including Michelangelo's David, and his Creation of Adam.
