As you will note below for this class we will be using Classkick (http://classkick.com), a platform where students complete work at their own pace and get individualized feedback from Ms. Brenda. Their work can be seen by only me. In order for your child to use Classkick, certain personally identifiable information - like the student’s name, photos of work, or voice recordings - may be collected so your child can work on interactive assignments and store their work in a private student portfolio. As detailed in Classkick’s privacy policy (http://classkick.com/privacy-policy), they are committed to never share or sell your child’s personal information or assignment content. Under a federal law titled the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), in order for your child to use Classkick, we must provide you with notification and obtain your permission. I hope that your child will enjoy using Classkick to capture their learning and receive feedback. Sign-in instructions will be emailed to you once we have started classes. This email will include their own private username and password as well as a short video explaining the process. Feel free to ask any questions.
