Description
Class Experience
Students will learn how to use the Question and Answer form of note-taking in order to be more focused, more attentive and more engaged both in class and out of class. Students will also use this system to learn from both readings and class discussions/lectures. Finally, students will learn how to use this system as an effective way to study for quizzes and tests.
Homework will be assigned for outside use, but not for OutSchool use as this class meets one time.
Please bring a textbook or other reading material you are currently using for one of your classes at school.
There is no assessment, but there is practice with support.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will refer to teacher prepared sources during the lesson. These include examples of textbooks and of novels.
