Description

Class Experience

Students will learn the basic meaning of mindfulness and meditation, and assess how it might benefit them personally.  They will learn some types of tools that are available to them.  They will experience a guided meditation, and consider what they would need to make it a ongoing personal practice.  They will also be provided with some basic instruction on how they may want to to practice independently after the session.
I have had over 30 years experience of meditation and mindfulness practice and have taught classes and workshops to children and adults, including female prisoners, helping them to deal with the stress of living behind bars.  I have seen how this simple practice can be the first step in changing people's lives.
