This class covers all 8 parts of speech (nouns, verbs, pronouns, adjectives, interjections, prepositions, and adverbs) in a one week class. While the class is only one week long, learners will create a visual interactive notebook page that will help them for years to come! How does this self-paced class work? The class is self-paced with no live meetings. Learners will receive 2 videos. The first video provides a tutorial on how to glue the page. The second video covers all 8 parts of speech in a video that simulates a classroom experience. Learners in this self-paced classe can pause, rewind, and review the lesson as needed, enhancing their understanding and retention of the material. What is an interactive notebook? An interactive notebook is a learner made notebook that visualizes grammar skills in charts, flip charts, graphics, and more! After class, the interactive becomes a resource that supports all language art curriculums. This class consists of (1) Interactive Notebook Page (1) Video describing how to assemble the notebook page (1) Video describing each part of speech (1) 8 Parts of Speech Funny Story/Worksheet (4) Blooket game links to practice identifying and using the correct part of speech (1) Optional Assessment that can be used as a grade Does this class offer grades? This class offers an option for grades, using Kahoot. Instructions will be provided on how to receive grades. How will learners apply what they learn? During the recording, learners will complete a visual for their interactive notebook. After class, learners will be directed to Blooket or Kahoot for fun educational activities to apply what they learned. Learners will receive feedback based off their work completed on the Blooket or Kahoot activities. An account is not required for Blooket or Kahoot.
