Class Experience

Learners will identify and describe feelings associated with Reading or English Language Arts skills or activities. They will learn strategies and patterns to help with reading and spelling skills.
I have taught in public and charter schools for ten years with students with Individual Education Plans (IEPs). I have worked with students are above, on, and below grade level. I have tutored elementary school aged students in reading and mathematics.
No homework will be assigned for this class.
*Learners will not need anything unless they want to take notes from the presentation. The PowerPoint will be shared with them at the end of class.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
I will be using Padlet and Microsoft PowerPoint in class. Learners will be required to go to the Padlet link to participate, but will not need to create an account. The PowerPoint will be shared in a PDF format after class.
A copy of the PowerPoint presented in class will be made available to learners. It will be shown in the class recording and posted directly to the class discussion.
