Beginner Level
This lesson teaches the history of paper, the process of creating paper, and how to make an origami hopping frog.  It also delves a little into other forms of recorded pages such as papyrus, plates, and parchment as well as other paper arts such as book art, quilling, and collage.  What is the most expensive piece of paper ever?  Find out in this lesson!

This course is design to support visual and auditory leaners as well as those with ADHD by uses humor, visuals, teacher view, and audio create a multi-sensory experience focused on the learner.
Pre-Requisites

Supply List
1 piece of paper
markers to decorate frog (optional)
Description: a piece of paper in the color that the frog is desired.  You can use origami paper, cardstock, plain paper, or construction paper.  The harder the paper, the higher he jumps, but the harder it is to fold.  
You can also use markers to sign (see the You, the Artist lesson) and decorate your frog.

I have an Associate Degree in Fine Art from Citrus College, Glendora, CA.  I have made paper before and have been folding origami hopping frogs since 6th grade.  I have taught over 200 students to fold origami.  I have been teaching the STEM+Art = STEAM classes for 12 years.
