Does your child struggle with admitting when they make a mistake? Maybe they become emotional or defensive when confronted with an error? In this unique class, learners will discover the power of mistakes and practice mental and emotional flexibility while developing a growth mindset. Together, we'll learn how to identify the size of a problem and match our reaction accordingly. We'll also discuss why mistakes can help us build resilience and empathy, and the valuable lessons we can learn from them. By embracing our mistakes and taking accountability, we can set ourselves on the path to success! Please note that this class includes a Kahoot! challenge. Students should download the Kahoot! app in advance, or be prepared to participate in the challenge via www.kahoot.it. This class is designed to be interactive and may vary based on peer interaction. Students are encouraged to share appropriately, which may lead to social conversations on a range of topics. While class time may exceed the scheduled timeframe, rest assured that we will always make the most of our time together.
