Description
Class Experience
Students will improve their understanding of: -How the lungs and diaphragm work -How breathing can affect the body and mind -How we can control our breathing -How breathing quickly and slowly can affect our thoughts and the reactions our bodies have -How to use breathing exercises to help us calm down
I've been studying drama for 15 years, including completing a Bachelor of Arts, Majoring in Theatre Studies from York University in Toronto, Canada. I've been teaching drama and working with drama students for 5+ years. I've also built sets and performed in several productions including Into the Woods, a Midsummer Night's Dream and several original devised theatre productions. I've also worked as a dramaturg helping playwrights develop their scripts for stage and podcast productions.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
