Students will learn how to hunt for descriptive words, write complete sentences and construct a descriptive paragraph about a favorite Pokémon character using the 4-Square method.
I have numerous articles published online, in national and international publications, and I’ve taught writing workshops all over the world. I’m a certified ESL teacher, have experience teaching in a homeschooling environment, and also in public and private schools. I also play 'Pokèmon Go' with my daughter in my spare time.
1 file available upon enrollmentPaper, pencils and erasers will be necessary. A graphic organizer worksheet will be available to print off from Google Drive, but it isn't necessary.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
3rd party apps are not required. However, there will be a PDF worksheet (generated by Google Drive) available to print upon enrollment. You will not need an extra login to access it. No screen or file sharing will occur thru Zoom features. Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools. I may, at times, show pictures of a specific Pokémon on my Android device to the class for inspiration.
