Students will be able to improvise in the right hand using chords, inversions, riffs, and licks.
I have a bachelor's degree in Music Education from SUNY Fredonia, a master’s degree of Kodály in Music Education from Loyola University Maryland, and 10+ years experience of Blues/Boogie Woogie improvisation on the piano. 1-2 hours of practice is recommended per week.
Students will need a keyboard or a piano. It is recommended to point the camera at the keys if possible.
25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
