Class Experience
Students will gain a MUCH greater understanding of the periodic table, with the hope that they can master using this tool. Understanding how to use this tool will increase their ability to master other chemistry concepts.
I am a middle school and high school math and science teacher with 10 years of experience. Additionally, I am a homeschooling dad of 13+years who has four kids that are four different types of learners. I have the privilege to teach many subject areas, but biology & chemistry are my favorite as they applies to all other areas of science. My opinion is that if a student understands the these major concepts, other sciences become more clear. I am an avid gardener and enjoy building things with my hands. Best part in my own lifelong learning process is when things don't go as planned. That, for me, is when curiosity and learning takes place. I hold a MS and BS in the natural sciences.
