1. Students will learn facts about the physical characteristics of the Peregrine Falcon, such as size, diet, habitat and characteristics. 
2. Students will learn how scientists use these characteristics to compare and classify a species like the Peregrine Falcon. 
3. Students will learn why conservation of peregrine falcons is so important and what is being done to prevent the extinction of this species. 
4. Students will learn new vocabulary words related to the study of the Peregrine Falcon in their natural habitat.

Assessments Offered
There is not a formal assessment for this class. Students will be learning concepts of animal science along with the opportunity to develop additional math, geography, vocabulary and creative thinking while learning facts about the Peregrine Falcon.
