Have you ever wondered why some Pokemon look like Dinosaurs? In this 30-minute one time course, we will be learning all about the ancient animals and fossils that inspired fossil Pokemon throughout the many Pokemon games, from Omanyte to Tyrantrum. We will covering when they lived, what they ate, their size and other interesting facts about these ancient Pokemon. Students will be encouraged to ask questions and discuss with the other learners about their favorite Pokemon and which real world fossils match which Pokemon. No prior knowledge required for this course, although interest in Pokemon is encouraged.
Learning Goals
Students will learn about many different fossils and the animals that they came from, their time period, and important facts about each of them using Pokemon as a base.
