Class Experience

I want students to gain knowledge and experience of how the role of RBG's life and career as a U.S. Supreme Court Justice plays into the history and future of the United States Justice System, and how she has opened doors for women and other minorities who will benefit years after her legacy.
I have a degree in Political Science and Legal Studies. I put my law degree on hold to focus on my family. I have sat in to observe many Supreme Court cases in my state. I feel prepared to teach this course about a trailblazer RBG who paved the way for many women we see in law today.
Homework will be to review clips, or notes from the lesson.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
RBG will speak of her "SEX" in the film. Parents should make sure that their student understands his or her sex as their gender. Male or female. Boy or Girl.
There will also be a short discussion about women's rights to her own body. Student's may hear the word abortion.
We will use CNNFilms to watch RBG's documentary. I have included a clip of the trailer for parent's and students.
