Class Experience
Do you ever wonder what your dog does at night? Or maybe your cat, or your mom, or your brother? In this 6-week writing class, students will listen to the hilarious story "The Night I Followed the Dog", and then brainstorm someone or something they would want to follow. Over the course of six weeks, we will work together to decide on a character to follow, write a plan for our writing, and draft each section of the story. Finally, students will be given the opportunity to revise and edit...
Students should come prepared with pencil and paper to every class.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
We will read the story, "The Night I Followed the Dog," as inspiration to write our own stories.
