In this one-time, one-hour class, we’ll dive into the myth and mystery of the legendary Phoenix—a mythical bird symbolizing fire, renewal, and immortality. Where did the myth originate, and how have different people described the Phoenix over time? We’ll also explore other fascinating mythological birds and discover real birds that may have inspired these ancient tales. Through slides and storytelling, we’ll journey through folklore and fiery tales. If your learners love mythology, legends, or birds, this class is a must!

Dear Parents,
I am excited to guide your students in exploring the wonders of animals and nature! I hold a Master’s in Science with a focus on Wildlife Biology (2019) and have taught Ornithology for six years. My passion for wildlife conservation, education, and birding drives me to spark curiosity and a deeper connection with the natural world.
In my classes, students engage with scientific methods and research, learning to observe, investigate, and think critically. My goal is to inspire a lifelong love for nature and empower young learners to see the world through
a scientific lens.
