While searching for hidden gold, a man goes missing. Did one of his friends commit the crime? Or is something else going on? In this one-time class, students will hear testimonies and try to solve the crime!

In this one-time class, students will listen to testimonies of witnesses of a crime. They will use their logic & memory skills to solve a crime! This mystery class will include some time reading the testimonies of the different people involved and some time to answer some questions about who may have committed the crime and why. Possible questions may center on: who has corroborating evidence, who we can trust, who is a primary source, who is a reliable source, and possible motives for committing the crime. Learners will practice developing their reasoning process and collaborating with others! There is no pre-requisite to this course. Come and have fun! *I also have this course included in an ongoing course!*

When I'm not in the classroom, you can often find me spending time with my family. My husband, two sons, and I love to explore the great outdoors (we are located in the Sonoran desert!), cook, read, and talk together! I have a passion for community, and love taking trips to visit my parents and friends.
Making learners feel heard and welcome is one of my top priorities! My classes are very learner-centered. I differentiate every lesson to make it as suitable as possible to your learner’s particular needs, learning styles, and interests.
