Disaster has struck in the city of Merryvale and someone wants to destroy the town's yearly carnival. Do you have what it takes to uncover all 5 clues in this mystery mathematical challenge game? Only teamwork and the correct detective skills can get anyone to solve this mystery! This mystery has 5 mathematical clues and 25 suspects and as we go through the story we will be able to find out who wants to destroy the Merryvale Fair! This will be a shared screen game that I will start out by reading a short story and once we are done we will discuss all 25 suspects. Who would want to destroy a beautiful fair and melt all the ice cream? This game will require a lot of mathematical skills as it will challenge students to mathematical problems that they might have never seen but don't worry, Teacher Erika will go with you in this mystery adventure. Together we will solve this mystery? Note: I will ask students to split their screen in half to ensure that they can see the escape room and my screen at the same time to ensure that they can see what we’re doing and they won’t be lost The mystery consists of the following clues: Clue #1: True or False math statements (ex: A cuboid has 6 vertices?) Clue #2: Number lines (Can you guess the missing numbers on the number line?) Clue #3: Change (Can you solve the money challenge from a 10 bill) Clue #4: Common math answers (The answer that comes out the most will be the age of the wrecker, can you solve mathematical operations?) Clue #5: Equivalent Fractions (Can you solve the equivalent fractions?) **CLASS SIZE: PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CLASS SIZE IS SET TO 1, THEREFORE YOUR CHILD MAY BE THE ONLY ONE IN CLASS IF NO ONE REGISTERS AT THE LAST MINUTE.
