Class Experience
There are NO live meetings for this class. Each week for five weeks, students will be guided through a study of The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart with videos that I have pre-recorded, along with games and quizzes (on Nearpod), group discussions, and more! The materials will be posted weekly, and you can view them during the week at your convenience. This class is taught in English.
Students will practice independent reading, then analyze and discuss the text by discussing vocabulary, setting, plot, and characters.
Students will read the book independently over our five-week class. Most of our assignments will be digital (in Nearpod) but I may provide a few printable graphic organizers for learners to use as they read through the book. The majority of our classwork/homework, activities, and projects will be on Nearpod.
