Have you ever wondered how many muscles you have, or if all muscles are the same? Join us as we explore the system that allows your body to jump, bend and twist! We will review the various features and functions of the muscular system in this class and answer a variety of questions that we may have about those features. We will discuss the ways that different kinds of muscles are distinguished from one another. Lastly, we will use construction paper, glue, straw and scissors to make a robotic...
-Students will be able to describe the function of the muscular system. -Students will be able to build a model that shows movement.
-Construction paper or cardstock at least 2 sheets in any color -5 pipe cleaners or string -At least 4 straws. They can be paper or plastic . -Tape -Scissors -A pencil
