In this Ballet class, step with Miss Grace into the musical fantasy World of Tangled and go on a dance adventure with the long-lost princess, Rapunzel. This is a fun, upbeat and creative themed class, where young dancers can dress up in character (costumes are not essential), as they dance their way into legendary story, through exploration and dance expression. No previous dance experience is required. Dancers will use Ballet exercises and steps, to support learning and development, such as spatial awareness, co-ordination, maths skills and development of musicality. We will use lots of imagination as we explore the life of Rapunzel together. This is a class for 3-6 years and will be underpinned with Miss Grace’s knowledge of quality dance technique and experience as a qualified ISTD Ballet Teacher. 1) Welcome and introduction 2) Ballet warm -up: To promote safe dance practice. 3) Exercises 3- 4 dance sequences to develop dance technique themed to Tangled 4) Tangled Ballet cool-down: To relax dancers’ muscles. 5) Traditional Ballet farewell and good-bye to our dance friends. Miss Grace is very excited about the opportunity to teach aspiring young dancers across the world and looks forward to welcoming to the legendary musical World of Tangled. Please see other lessons offered by Miss Grace and follow her as she releases new classes.
