In this one-time class students will learn about the various McDonald's fries lawsuits and the legal concepts behind them. From non-vegan to gluten-filled, these lawsuits have a lot to chew through.

McDonald's has been involved in many lawsuits regarding their stores and products. They've even had several lawsuits regarding their french fries! The first lawsuit was regarding the fact that the fast-food giant used beef seasoning in their fries. The other notorious fry-related lawsuits are regarding the fact that the fries are not dairy or gluten-free. Now, you may be asking yourself, "How are people even able to sue for that?" This is not a criminal law issue or a typical civil law...
Students will learn about breach of warranties and other related topics. They will be able to apply their knowledge to relevant cases and real-world events. This class will be beneficial to all students, as this topic should be explored by anyone that is a--or will be--a consumer.
I am a law student and have successfully studied and achieved high grades in my contract law courses. I have been formally trained in legal research and have six years of paralegal experience putting those research skills into practice.
