This class will cover The Magician's Nephew with reading comprehension questions, full discussion, vocabulary, and writing prompts. There will be games, slides, and video clips to keep learners engaged and having fun! While learners do not need to have any prior experience, it is expected that students can read and complete assignments during the week. Vocabulary, reading outside of class, and additional activities will be required for this class. While this class does offer a lot of material, the certificate will be focused on the required material for the class, which includes reading, writing, vocabulary development, figurative language, and grammar. Make no mistake, this is a challenging curriculum. Each chapter will have a vocabulary practice and quiz, reading comprehension discussions in class, figurative language practice, and video clips to introduce the chapter as we read it together. Don't forget about adding creativity to the class! What's learning without a little fun and creativity?
