Arizona Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education
Hello! My name is Rachel Pacheco, and I’m thrilled to welcome you to our class. I live in the beautiful state of Arizona, where the sun always shines and adventure is around every corner. I have a wonderful family and an adorable dog who keeps us all entertained.

When I'm not spending time with my family, you’ll find me lost in a good book or enjoying classic movies. I love sharing stories and exploring new worlds through reading and film. I love being outdoors, soaking up the sunshine, and enjoying everything Arizona has to offer, from stunning hikes to relaxing picnics.

I’ve been a teacher for over ten years, specializing in middle school math, language arts, and social studies. I’m excited to bring my love for learning, my enthusiasm for the great outdoors, and my fun-loving spirit into our classroom. Together, we’ll create a vibrant, engaging, and supportive environment where we can all thrive and have a blast along the way.

During my years teaching, I have worked with students in both the general education classroom, as well as students with special needs, including specific learning disabilities, other health impairments, behavioral and emotional struggles, and students on the Autism Spectrum.

I believe that all students can learn, and that the best way to ensure learning and growth for students is to engage them in high-quality lessons and discussion, based on student interest, and to give them choice in the way in which they display their knowledge. Autonomy and choice in the learning environment are key to student engagement and buy-in to learning.

I can’t wait to get to know each of you and embark on this exciting journey together!
