Description
Class Experience
This class is for intermediate learners - students who have some experience making balloons. We'll review inflating and tying balloon, the basic types of twists. Then we'll jump in with both feet and twist some exciting and fun shapes. For those students who want to make the eyeball glasses found on the photo for the beginners class you will need to get the eye balloons (5 inch rounds and the long, straight balloons called 260s. We go step-by-step as I make the balloons you are making...
As mentioned earlier we'll need to get the balloons we'll use in class. Also, if you don't already have one make sure you get a small balloon pump. It's really hard to blow them up by mouth. So I don't recommend trying just yet. Here are a few places you can find the balloons. 1) 260's any color variety. These are the long, straight ones. Link for 260's or 260Q: https://www.larocksmagic.com/Qualatex-260Q-Balloons-s/1959.htm 2) Eyeball 5-inch rounds (If you would like to be original you can get any 5-inch round for the eyes) Link for eyeballs: https://www.etsy.com/listing/639510859/5-inch-eyeball-balloons-eyeball-decor?gpla=1&gao=1&&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=shopping_us_ts1-e-paper_and_party_supplies-party_supplies-party_decor-backdrops_and_props&utm_custom1=9eb6c7f3-017e-423a-b3ae-c23fcc753086&utm_content=go_1844177690_70025034192_346363786755_pla-316241129464_c__639510859&utm_custom2=1844177690&gclid=Cj0KCQjw9IX4BRCcARIsAOD2OB3gzxxXrmOONE-K799IJfVi5qoARN0Z2Y9jc7zwso-cGAwNwOfjRqQaAnt6EALw_wcB OR https://www.tmyers.com/collections/5-round-qualatex-printed 3) Balloon pump: Qualatex dual action pump: (It's green and black. But there are others from the other links and you can also just Google: Balloon hand pump) https://www.tmyers.com/collections/pumps LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED HELP FINDING ANY OF THE 3 ITEMS ABOVE. Thanks Mr. K.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Part of learning every art form is taking pride in our work. From time to time we'll evaluate what we have done in a very casual and non-competitive fashion. We'll reflect on what we've been able to do and what we want to do next.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
