Class Experience

In this class we will read "The Littlest Pumpkin" by R.A. Herman * Illustrated by Betina Ogden.
Plot Summary-The smallest pumpkin at the pumpkin stand dreams of being chosen for someone’s special Halloween celebration. One by one he watches all the other pumpkins get picked for qualities that he does not possess. Just when it seems as if his dreams will never come true, a change in perspective helps him see that he is perfect for someone’s Halloween celebration after all.

After an introductory song, we will make a simple Halloween craft to assist us in the post-story discussion/ activity.
