Class Experience
In this class, you’ll learn how to become a more confident and capable reader. We’ll cover key topics like reading comprehension, vocabulary development, critical thinking, and state-specific reading standards. The class is structured around a mix of interactive read-alouds, comprehension activities, and group discussions. My teaching style is engaging and responsive, ensuring that you get the support you need to grow as a reader. You'll interact with me regularly through guided reading sessions, vocabulary games, and discussions. We'll use a variety of tools like slides, video clips, and reading passages to make learning dynamic and fun.
Learning Goals
Students will develop the ability to understand and interpret texts of various genres, improving their comprehension skills.
Students will expand their vocabulary by learning new words in context and practicing their usage in reading and writing activities.
