Description

Class Experience

During this Book Club, students will discuss the novel The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Classes will include guided discussion, interactive activities and character study. Students will be provided worksheets and resources to take notes as they read but they are not required for class. There will be reading assigned each class. Here is the class schedule: 
Week 1: Introduction to C.S. Lewis and read Chapter 1 together. *Students read Chapter 2&3 outside of class
Week 2: Quick study of...

Students will read the story looking for in depth understanding of the characters, themes and be able to discuss their thoughts with others.

Students will be required to read 2 chapters a week on their own outside of class.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

This story does involve allegorical themes, magic, sacrifice, and battle.
