What's included
1 live meeting
55 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
Within the realm of reptiles lives a group of unique animals that most of us have probably encountered at some point in our lives. In this one-time class, students will learn the basics of the lizard world including what makes a lizard a lizard, what they eat, and some interesting facts. Some lizards that will be mentioned at some point in this class include: 1) Chameleons 2) Komodo Dragons 3) Uromastyx 4) Gila Monsters This class will be more of a lecture style (yet interactive) class with a PowerPoint, photos, videos, and fascinating facts. We will have conversations about these creatures and students are encouraged to ask questions and discuss (although are also welcome to just absorb the information if they prefer). There will be no live lizards in this section on my end but if any student has a pet lizard they would like to share with the class I would be happy to incorporate this. I only ask that you message me before class letting me know so I can adjust the pace accordingly. I cannot guarantee, but will try to make it work if possible! Class photo by PollyDot from Pixabay

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have a strong passion for animals and have worked with many reptiles in the past including lizards such as Asian water monitors, tegus, and geckos to name a few. I love getting others excited about the animal kingdom and feel as though I can approach this topic with a lot of fun and excitement for the learners.
