1. Curriculum (What I'll be teaching in the classroom): Jackie Robinson is known as the man who broke Major League Baseball’s color barrier in 1947. In this lesson, students will learn about segregation in baseball and in US society as a whole. They will also examine the character traits that made Robinson successful as the first African American to play in the modern Major Leagues. 2. Teaching Style: Demonstrate: I will share knowledge, demonstrate my expertise, advise students, and provide feedback to improve understanding and promote learning for learners. 3. Instruction: Visual/Listening: Informational Video Listening/ Speaking: open-ended discussions Art: Color to represent learned material 4. Requirements: -Participate -Communicate -Do activities -Have materials ready to be used 5. Online Rules: -Learners can use tablet or computer. -Learners can eat, drink and use the restroom. -Learners can dance to music if it's played. -Learners can leave early if work is completed. *If you need to reach me don't hesitate to message me or write a classroom comment on the classroom page. 6. Cancelation/Transfers: Please message me at least a day before if you need to transfer or cancel a class. If you don't, I won't be able to match your reques * We will not be doing science experiments in this class
