The Life of Jackie Robinson (Baseball Player)

1. Curriculum (What I'll be teaching in the classroom):
Jackie Robinson is known as the man who broke Major League Baseball’s color barrier in 1947. In this lesson, students will learn about segregation in baseball and in US society as a whole. They will also examine the character traits that made Robinson successful as the first African American to play in the modern Major Leagues.

Demonstrate: I will share knowledge, demonstrate my expertise, advise students, and provide feedback to improve understanding and promote learning for learners.

Visual/Listening:  Informational Video
Listening/ Speaking: open-ended discussions
Art: Color to represent learned material

Online Rules:
-Learners can use tablet or computer.
-Learners can eat, drink and use the restroom.
-Learners can dance to music if it's played.
-Learners can leave early if work is completed.
