Class Experience

Alexander Hamilton is famous for many things - like acting as the first Secretary of the Treasury, being the aide-de-camp to George Washington during the Revolutionary War, and being honored on the ten dollar bill. But have you ever wondered about what his life was like outside of the things he's famous for? What was his childhood like? What did he do for fun? How many children did he have? What was his life like with Eliza? We will answer these questions and so much more in this 3 day class!...

Students will have a deeper understanding of the life of Alexander Hamilton.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

1 hour per week in class, and no time outside of class.

Alexander Hamilton's mother, Rachel, had two of her sons out of wedlock. We will not focus on this in class, but it is something that will be mentioned in order to understand the life of Alexander.
