In this one time class we will study the life cycle of a spider as Mrs. G. reads the book "Spiders" by Seymour Simon. After reading we will complete some activities to recall the life cycle and the parts of a spider's body. We will conclude our time with a guided drawing of a spider and spider web, as well as drawing the life cycle. If time allows, learners wilI color their drawings. Upon enrollment you will received the necessary files to print. Supplies needed for this class are: -pencil -2 pieces of white paper or sketchbook -colored pencils or crayons -printouts of files from Mrs. G

Hello! My name is Lori Gonzales and I have been a credentialed teacher for over 18 years. 15 of those years I spent in the Kindergarten classroom and I am passionate about teaching children to read! Most of my classes are focused on phonics, language arts, and learning about the world around us through literature. I also enjoy teaching science and nature classes. My style of teaching is interactive with my students and I plan my lessons with a multi-sensory approach (visual, auditory, and kinesthetic) to benefit all learners. Please feel free to ask if there are any specific classes you are looking for in the K-4 grade range. I will always consider creating new courses. In my spare time I enjoy reading, music, traveling, cooking, and entertaining. My husband and I live in Texas with our golden doodle Cowboy. We are recent empty-nesters with 2 adult daughters.
