In this one time class, students will learn about the life cycle & parts of a mushroom. We will end the class by creating a fun mushroom drawing together!

It is no secret that mushrooms are amazing! Most of their lifecycle is invisible to the naked eye, which makes them that much more intriguing! I am both an art teacher and a hobby herbalist who loves learning about mushrooms myself :) In this one time class, student will learn about each stage of the life cycle of a mushroom. Students will be able to identify parts of a mushroom, as well as different types. We will wrap up the class by doing a guided drawing of a mushroom! This will allow students to continue their practice of identifying the parts of a mushroom, as well as express themselves creatively! The class will be run in a laid back way, allowing students to talk about the subject as we go.
