Don't see a time that works for you?
Topics will be discussed and students will be encouraged to share their ideas, move their bodies and sing. From the birth of tadpoles in the spring to fall hibernation, students will learn the four stages of a frog's life cycle, where frogs live, what frogs eat and the difference between warm and cold blooded animals. Students will learn a few frog jokes, make a lifecycle wheel and learn how to draw a frog in their own sketchbook/ scientific journal. Bugzy, our classroom rabbit (puppet),...
Writing and cutting skills will be practiced as students make a lifecycle wheel and learn to draw a frog.
2 files available upon enrollmentStudents will need to bring: - a sketchbook/ notebook/ scientific journal or loose paper - a pencil and an eraser - coloured pencils - scissors - glue - fastener (as per the class video) If you want to add to your sketchbook or scientific journal, join me for another class!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
