Welcome to The Kitty Kat Detective Agency International! Does your child love cats and solving mysteries? Let their imagination soar with Detective Kitty Kat Meow McFluffy in this fun, engaging class designed to build creativity, mathematical problem solving, logic, critical thinking, and social skills—all while having a blast! In The Kitty Kat Detective Agency International, your child will: Become a Detective: Each child gets their very own Kitty Kat Detective code name and will learn exciting problem-solving skills through role-play games, escape room-style mysteries, and weekly adventures. Make Friends: They’ll join other young detectives in the magical world of Kittyville, where friendships form as they work together to crack the case. Customize their Own Cat: Each child adopts a unique cat from our special gallery. They can personalize it weekly—changing its colors, adding fun accessories like wings, bows, or even a kittycorn horn! Real-life cats and stuffed animals can even join the fun by submitting a photo to be part of the class social space. Share Their Adventures: The class kicks off with “Mews” (Kitty Kat News), where your child can share stories, favorite books or games, cat facts, or even real-life experiences—encouraging social confidence and connection. With a brand new mystery every week, this class blends creativity, storytelling, and teamwork. Whether your child enjoys dressing up as their detective character or simply loves diving into fun, themed mysteries, they’ll find something to love here. And if they have their own mystery idea, we’ll bring it to life in future classes! I trained at a top drama school in London and create devised theatre and inclusive dance performances. I have been a teacher in schools and further education for the last 16 years. I specialize in teaching drama, English, maths, enterprise, and working with students with learning disabilities. In December 2020 I left my full-time job teaching maths, drama, and citizenship in a secondary school for autistic learners to work full time at The Kitty Kat Detective Agency International.
I am passionate about inclusion and mastery. I am skilled at teaching complex concepts using simple visual methods. I use my acting training to retell magical stories with fun, maths puzzles, and games woven in with top tips for individual students on how to develop their maths and communication skills.
I set up The Kitty Kat Detective Agency International as lockdown began inspired by my son's love of mysteries, maths, and cats and I love it so much I never take my whiskers off.Reviews
